Hublot's Big Bang UNICO Magic Gold Watches

Hublot's own materials science engineer, Senad Hasanovic, says “If you want something unique and different you have to create it yourself.”So that's exactly what they did. Hublot's patented “Magic Gold” is the companies very own creation that is more than twice as strong as standard 18k gold, is stronger than titanium, and can only be modified by the hardest material in the world: diamonds. Made up of 24k gold infused within the pores of ceramic “Magic Gold” is the world's first and only scratch proof gold alloy.
In 2015 Hublot put this “Magic Gold” into two limited edition watches as part of their Big Bang Unico collection: The Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold and The Big Bang Unico Ceramic Magic Gold. Both of these watches feature Magic Gold on their bezels, but the Full Magic Gold edition also includes Magic Gold on its 45 mm case. These watches truly are, as Hublot's CEO Ricardo Guadalupe said himself, “the quintessence of Hublot's most significant achievements over the past decade.”
